One Direction meet the Queen

One Direction are making celeb BFFs all over the place: they’re bezzies with Justin Bieber, they were just hanging out with Johnny Depp, and now they’ve met Queen Elizabeth II! One is well jealous!

The Royal Variety Performance took place in London last night, and Britain’s favorite boyband were introduced to none other than HRH herself after the show. The boys seemed pretty nervous as they met the monarch but managed to keep their cool; check out the picture above to see Louis gingerly shaking her hand, Zayn looking utterly bemused, and Niall... sleeping.

Harry later tweeted: "Today, I met The Queen." A man of few words.

The gorgeous Girls Aloud and Kylie Minogue were also performing at the Royal Albert Hall last night, but Liz outglammed them all in a spangly silver dress. She fierce! We wonder who her favorite member of One Direction is? Seems like a Liam fan if you ask us.
