There are three main decorations to start with:
Pattern will decorate the whole cake with a lovely pattern, and then you can choose a colour to fill in the spaces
Frosting will cover the whole cake with one particular colour
Icing lets you draw or write with any coloured icing

Then you can add all the other really fun things - there are letters and numbers for if you want to write a message, and there are lots of delicious decorations like chocolate drops, marshmallows and sprinkles.

You can do all the decorations in any order at all. You can even put on chocolate drops for instance, before you do the overall icing... that makes everything much easier! So you can change your mind about the colour of something at the bottom, without having to take everything off the top!

You can even print out your final design when you are finished, by clicking on the printer button, or at any time you can start again by clicking the erase button next to the printer,
