We love this video! Ok, so rolling up the sock can get a little boring, but skip ahead to 2.10 to get to the bun creation. Remember at 2.14 too, wherever you secure your ponytail, that is how high or low your bun will be. If you’ve got short hair, you might find a low bun works best, so you don’t end up with too many flyaways. At 3.30, don’t forget that you don’t have to keep it as neat as the girl in the video. You could always pull out a few strands to leave the look a bit ’messier.’

Next time you get up in the morning and your hair looks like it’s been styled by your baby brother during a tantrum; grab some scissors, an old clean sock, a hair tie and some hair clips.
